Anger Management - This program is an 8 - 14 week educational group that focuses on anger management. Participants learn various skills and techniques to reduce the anger response to life situations.
Drug and Alcohol Safety Education Program (DASEP) - This program is designed to reduce the number of injuries and deaths that result from intoxicated drivers. Services include education, referral and prevention programs in nine Arkansas counties.
Domestic Violence Intervention Program (DVIP) - This 25 week educational program is designed to help the participants stop using violence in relationships. Sessions give information and practical tools to change the beliefs, values and behaviors of individuals with a history of violence.
TransParenting - This educational program is designed to teach effective parenting during the transitions of divorce or parental separation. Each seminar emphasizes the parent's responsibility to provide a nurturing, non-threatening environment for the child.
Counseling & Employee Assistance Program - Licensed Certified Social Workers provide counseling developed especially for the needs of each person. EAP counselors provide assessments and referrals to employees of business to increase or maintain optimum productivity for employees.
Substance Abuse Counseling and Education Program (SACEP) - Our state licensed substance abuse education and counseling program provides comprehensive services for adults. Programs are designed to asses an individual's level of substance abuse and offer placement in a treatment program designed specifically for each client.
MODS: Multi Offender DWI Services - This 4 week treatment group is for clients that have been court ordered to treatment. Groups cover the biological and psych-social aspects of addiction, early abstinence, maintaining abstinence, triggers, relapse prevention and life management skills.
Theft Prevention Program - The goal of this program is to reduce shoplifting by enhancing personal development, self-awareness, and educating people on the consequences of their behavior. This program focuses on education, the offender's thinking prior to and about stealing, cost versus payoff and making better choices.
Adolescent Drug & Alcohol Treatment Program - This program is designed for 12 to 18 year-olds. Evidence based curriculums are utilized to offer participants knowledge of the affects and consequences of substance use and refusal and coping skills combat substance use and peer influence. These sessions are facilitated by a Master's Level Licensed Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselors.
YES Team - The YES (Youth Extinguishing Smoking) team is the state-wide, youth-led initiative developed by the Tobacco Control Youth Board (TCBY). The TCBY's mission is to reduce youth access and consumption of tobacco. The program recruits youth via presentations, meetings and other social networking activities. There are 70 TCBY members and 2,245 YES team members throughout the state.
Prevention Resource Centers (PRC) - These centers provide assistance to communities in developing approaches to reducing risk associated with alcohol, tobacco, drug abuse and acts of violence. There are two locations. Regions 8 which serves Clark, Garland, Hot Springs, Montgomery and Pike Counties and Regions 9 which serves Lonoke, Prairie, Pulaski and Saline Counties.
Consumer Credit Counseling Service (CCCS) - CCCS provides money management counseling to individuals and families. Services include: budget counseling, consumer financial education, Check-Wise program, debt management and repayment program, credit report review, housing counseling, home buyer education, pre-filing bankruptcy counseling and pre-discharge bankruptcy education. CCCS provides a confidential and disciplined program of counseling and consumer education that supports individuals and families in their efforts to regain stability and address their financial obligations.
Most services are offered on a sliding fee basis according to family income.
